If a calendared site visit has been cancelled, there are two options in SimpleTrials:
1. Cancel the visit - this option will keep the visit on the calendar in a cancelled status, and will archive away the site visit tracking record (along with any non-submitted evisit report and site letters). This visit will no longer generate alerts or be counted in visit report metrics.
2. Remove the visit - this option will remove (archive) the visit from the calendar, as well as archive away the site visit tracker record (same as described above for the cancel feature).
To cancel a visit:
1. Navigate to the calendar view and find the visit record.
2. Click the visit to open the details view.
3. Click the "Cancel Event" button at the bottom of the details window.
4. Enter a reason for change to confirm the cancellation.
Please note there is NO UNDO for the Cancel Event action. Once a visit is cancelled, you may view the event details, or remove the event. If you cancel an event by mistake and wish to restore it to active status, you must contact SimpleTrials Report. Please provide the "CTMS ID" in the bottom left of the event details view when submitting your support request.
