Typically, when the contract template cannot be applied to SITES > SITE CONTRACTS there are two possible reasons for this.
The first thing to check is to make sure that you have a per-subject and a fixed fee contract template for the Country where your site is located. Contract templates at the site level can only be applied if there is a corresponding Contract Template for the country where the site is located. Note that the Contract Templates themselves are based on the currency of the contract and more than one country can use the same template and currency.
If the Contract Template exists for the country where the site is located, then make sure that each contract template in Study Profile has a Template Status of Complete. This is done by navigating to STUDY > STUDY PROFILE Section 7, clicking on the “(+)” sign of the country folder and then looking at the entry for Status of that contract template. If it is not Complete, then click the “Edit” button, change the value for Template Status to Complete, and click “Save”. The contract template can now be applied to the individual sites.
