How are the Projected Columns Calculated in Forecasting Section 2? – Simple Support (Trial By Fire Solutions)

In STUDY > FORECASTING Section 2 Subject Cost Projections the "Subject Monthly Cost Projections" columns are calculated using a combination of Enrollment Projections from Tab 1 AND Actual Subjects + Subject Visit Schedule + Subject Contract.

The "Enrollment/Rand Date" or the 15th of the month the Phantom subject is projected to enroll is used as the starting point. For Actual Subjects, the visit schedule they are assigned is used for the dates. For Phantom subjects, the Subject Contract in SITES > SITE CONTRACTS that is marked as "Use for Projections" will be used to pull costs.

NOTE: All visit schedules MUST have one row with the Enrollment/Rand Date in the "Project From" column. The rest of the visits should be Projected From that visit.

Using the Visit Schedule to calculate the month that the visit falls in as well as the associated Subject Contract for the fees for the visit, the system populates the monthly column with the correct value.

To confirm the values, you can use the "Site and Subject Details" view which shows a per visit breakdown of the calculations included in each Month.
