How can I determine what data are being used for the chart or graph and for any of the views?

In the STUDY > STUDY DASHBOARD view, there are a number of charts and graphs taking data from various sources to create them. As part of most graphs and charts, there is a button labelled "Explain Chart" or "Explain". Clicking this button will launch a pop-up with information regarding the data sources for the chart or graph.

Throughout the remainder of SimpleTrials, data from one view can be found in other views. For example, when a user sets the Site Participation Status for a site in SITES > SITES & CONTACTS view, that same value is displayed in the SITES > STARTUP TRACKING view.

As part of the Support Resources available to all users, there is a document titled "Field Mapping Guide" which provides a detailed description of the various fields throughout the SimpleTrials system and if the data in that field comes from a different section of the application. Use of this document will help users to better understand where data needs to be changed (ie, the source) if it is incorrect or incomplete.
