Within the eISF PORTAL, the "Documents for Download" section is where site users can download study documents provided by the study team. The study team should create a list of the documents that they are providing the sites (i.e. Protocol, Investigator's Brochure, ICF Templates, etc.) and those documents should automatically appear in the "Documents for Download" grid with one row per document.
Within this section you can search for specific documents using keywords, sort columns by clicking on the column header, and export this list of documents as an external document.
Within each row are fields that pertain to that document.
- Document Title = The is the specific description of what document this is (i.e. "Sub-I CV Jones, Alex 18May2020" ; "ICF Approved 14Jan2021")
- Required for Activation = This field will say either "Yes" or "No." This is defined by the study team to determine whether a document has been designated as is required to be collected by the study team before the site can be activated for study participation. HINT: This may be used as the designation for a document being included in the startup or reg pack.
- File for Download = This contains a link to the file attachment for document to be downloaded to your local drive
- Comments = Any additional notes the study team included for your reference HINT: This may be used as the designation for a document being included in the startup or reg pack.
- Posted Date = The date the study team included this document in the eISF PORTAL
- Downloaded By = The name of the site person who downloaded the document file
- Date Downloaded = The date the document file was downloaded by the site
How to Download Documents from the eISF
- If there are a lot of documents in the "Documents for Download" list, you can use the search bar to find a specific document. Or you can sort the columns by clicking on the column header. This is most helpful to look for documents that are recently posted or that are included in the startup/reg pack (templates).
- Once the document has been found, click on the blue link to the attachment in the the "File for Download" column
- From there, the document should download to your computer/local drive and you can open it and save it where you need
If you have additional questions on the documents provided or requested in this view, please contact your study team contact.
