SimpleTrials offers the capability of integrating with EDC vendors to automatically import enrollment, subject status, and subject visit data on a regular basis and update the relevant information for customers without requiring manual effort.
SimpleTrials has integrated with a number of well-known EDC vendors including Medrio EDC, Castor EDC, DSG eCaseLink, Medidata Rave, IBM CD, ClinCapture Captivate, iMedNet, and REDCap Cloud. If your EDC vendor is not included in the above list, the SimpleTrials team is able to establish the details and programming required for a successful transfer of data from the vendor to SimpleTrials.
This process of establishing the EDC integration with SimpleTrials is a collaborative activity between the customer, the EDC vendor representative, and the SimpleTrials Professional Services team. It begins when the customer expresses an interest in EDC integration and provides some details on the EDC vendor, the study, and prioritization of studies if there is more than one involved.
Once the customer decides they would like to move forward with the EDC integration activities, an Administrative user of the customer can follow the steps below to purchase the EDC integration setup.
1. Navigate to the ADMINISTRATION > SUBSCRIPTION & SETTINGS view. NOTE: only Admin users have access to this view
2. Select the "Add" button under the "Subscription Add Ons" section.
3. Select the EDC Integration Setup Support. This is a one-time fee that is payable at the start of the integration activities and covers all of the SimpleTrials’ team activities required to successfully establish a working EDC integration. After the integration work has been completed and the data is flowing, a monthly EDC Integration Support fee to cover the infrastructure and troubleshooting is charged until the integration for that study is no longer required.
